Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club is a 27-hole venue in the Aa valley near Lumbres, Pas-de-Calais, with the 18-hole, par-73 Le Val course and the 9-hole La Haute Drève. Designed by Dutch architect Joan Dudok van Heel and open since 1990, Le Val has hosted a Challenge Tour event since 2000. On this page you can check live tee time availability, compare green fees and book instantly, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before your round.
The club lies on both sides of a small natural valley carved by the River Aa, on the edge of the Caps et Marais d’Opale regional nature park, about 40 km from Calais. A golf hotel sits next to the course, and the club holds a “Pôle d’Excellence Golfique” label for the quality of its facilities.
Le Val follows the natural slopes of the valley, with an open, undulating layout, dog-legs, sloping greens and water hazards. The choice of tees changes it from a manageable round to a serious test, and the back tees are used each year for the professional event that has made the club known across Europe. La Haute Drève, a technical nine, is ideal for a shorter round or a warm-up.
Tournament pedigree: Le Val has hosted the Saint-Omer Open on the Challenge Tour since 2000, and for several years it was also a European Tour event.

Saint-Malo Golf Resort is a 27-hole golf complex in Le Tronchet, Brittany, designed by Hubert Chesneau, the architect of Le Golf National, and open since 1986. Its 18-hole, par-72 Surcouf course and 9-hole Old Course wind through forest, lakes and Breton granite, about 20 minutes from Saint-Malo. On this page you can check live tee time availability, compare green fees and book instantly, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before your round.
The resort sits on the Domaine de Saint-Yvieux, an estate of more than 100 hectares in the north of Ille-et-Vilaine, between Saint-Malo, Dinan and the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. A hotel and two restaurants are on site, so it works as a base for a golf break on the Emerald Coast.
Hubert Chesneau, who also designed Le Golf National near Paris, laid out the Surcouf course through woodland and around lakes and outcrops of Breton granite. It is a demanding test, with dog-legs, curving fairways, water and plenty of strategically placed bunkers. The 9-hole Old Course, a par 36, is shorter and accessible to every level, ideal for a warm-up or a quicker round.
Which course to book: the Surcouf for a full championship round; the Old Course for a shorter, more relaxed nine holes.
