Elea Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-71 championship course near Paphos, Cyprus, designed by six-time major winner Sir Nick Faldo and opened in 2010. It sits just a couple of kilometres from the Mediterranean, with sea views and weathered limestone outcrops shaping the holes. On this page you can check live tee time availability, compare green fees and book instantly, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before your round.
Elea Golf Club is the centrepiece of the Eléa Estate in Geroskipou, on the edge of Paphos in south-west Cyprus. Since it opened in 2010 it has become one of the leading courses on the island and a regular stop for golfers looking for winter sun in the eastern Mediterranean.
Sir Nick Faldo and his design team built the course around the natural lie of the land, with limestone outcrops, Mediterranean grasses and wild herbs lining the fairways. The design rewards thoughtful golf more than raw power: strategic bunkering, water hazards and tricky greens set a puzzle on every hole, and the sea breeze adds another layer to the challenge. A large clubhouse overlooks the course.
Designer signature: Faldo’s focus on strategy rather than distance. Picking the right side of the fairway for each approach matters more than how far you hit it.
Green fees at Elea Golf Club change with the season, the day of the week and the time of day, so the best way to see the exact price is to search your date in the booking box. As a general guide:
| When you play | What to expect |
|---|---|
| High season (Oct–May) | The winter-sun season, when golfers from northern Europe come to Cyprus. Book ahead for morning slots. |
| Low season (Jun–Sep) | Usually the lowest green fees of the year. Summers are very hot, so play early or take a twilight time. |
| Afternoon and twilight | Often cheaper than morning slots and ideal if you want a quieter round. |
| Weekdays vs weekends | Weekdays tend to have more availability; weekend slots fill up faster. |
Cyprus has one of the sunniest climates in Europe. Autumn, winter and spring (October–May) are the best months for golf, with mild, dry days. Summers are hot, often above 30°C, so early-morning or twilight tee times are the most comfortable from June to September.
The course is at 1 Eleon Avenue in Geroskipou, on the eastern edge of Paphos, close to the coast road and the A6 motorway. Parking is available at the clubhouse.
